Solutions
Our solutions are a blend of development,
integration, and sound project management. Systems should not be
developed as islands - their value lies in their integration with other
systems. Systems cannot be integrated without sound management practices -
integration is a chaotic discovery process that must not be allowed to derail
strategic objectives. Management must begin with a strategic focus - new
development must be focused on the strategic objectives, and therefore must
integrate with the existing vision.
Projects:
-
Integrating CCI's Essentris Product with clinical systems at Madigan Army
Medical Center with bi-directional data exchange
-
Building a Service Oriented Architecture that integrates and manages all major
informatics systems within MAMC.
-
Tied GE's Centricity ED Solution to existing clinical systems.
-
Designed and implemented a data structure that allows various media to comprise
an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
 -
Implemented the HL7's Clinical Document Architecture standard to
facilitate the exchange of clincal data sets between the DOD and the VA.
-
Created an integration architecture for the Western Region Medical Systems.
This integration architecture differentiated between local clinical systems and
other systems that would either consume data or provide data to those systems.
-
Designed and planned the Hermes suite of survey tools for WRMC. Also
implemented that software suite in the Health Risk Assessment (2) project for
elements of AMEDD.
-
Actively participates in the HL7 Organizations Services Project, along with the
sister organization, OMG's Healthcare DTF, in planning the core healthcare
infrastructure standards.
